Iga Lis is a Polish film director. Her films have been screened at festivals including San Francisco International Film Festival, Camerimage, Palm Springs ShortFest, Fipadoc, Thessaloniki International Documentary Film Festival, and Millennium Docs Against Gravity. Her documentary feature debut, The Queen and the Smokehouse, opened the 65. Krakow Film Festival and, following its nationwide theatrical release, became the most-watched auteur documentary of the year.  The following year, she was nominated for Discovery of the Year at the Polish Film Academy Awards, recognising emerging talent in film. A History graduate of the London School of Economics, she is based between London and Warsaw.
